Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony was so devastating to the 1/6 commission that the current talking point is to ignore what she said and focus on Trump.

Two important facts about Hutchinson’s testimony have been debunked.
First, Secret Service agents are ready to testify that at no time did former President Trump ever try to take over the limo, and 1/6 commission video shows Trump left in the back of an SUV.
Second, An ABC News report has debunked Rep. Cheney’s claims and Hutchinson’s testimony.

At Tuesday’s Jan. 6 committee hearing, Rep. Liz Cheney displayed a handwritten note which Hutchinson testified she wrote after Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows handed her a note card and pen to take his dictation.
Sources familiar with the matter said that Herschmann had previously told the committee that he had penned the note.
“The handwritten note that Cassidy Hutchinson testified was written by her was in fact written by Eric Herschmann on January 6, 2021,” a spokesperson for Herschmann told ABC News Tuesday evening.
“All sources with direct knowledge and law enforcement have and will confirm that it was written by Mr. Herschmann,” the spokesperson said.

But perhaps the most humiliating moment was Rep. Adam Schiff comments on CNN after Hutchinson’s testimony.
After the hearing, Schiff appeared on CNN and was asked about the controversies surrounding Hutchinson’s testimony.
All he would say in response was, “I can’t comment on other testimony before the Committee.”
