Al Sharpton Proves He Is Clueless Over Comments About Trump & Fox News

Al Sharpton has once again proven he is clueless and just continues to spout outdated Democrat talking points. On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Deadline,” Al Sharpton commented on the President’s involvement in the retired Special Operations Chief Eddie Gallagher’s case.

Sharpton was upset that the President would involve himself with a war criminal and that Fox News is “promoting” the case. He claims the President should only listen to the Navy investigators and what they have to say and not involve himself since there is conflicting information.

Sharpton said, “I think it really adds to the danger level of this country when you can have a president of the United States go by a Fox News story rather than deal with the evidence that investigators and people in the Navy and people that have done this—as he has— said there’s contrary evidence, there are conflicting reports— and you are playing to a media outlet that is in your political favor and have supported you more than you are to the basic facts of a military officer.”

What Sharpton didn’t tell you that the Navy prosecutors haven’t been honorable themselves. At one point during the case, the prosecutor was even removed after it was discovered that Cmdr. Christopher Czaplak when it was discovered that he had placed tracking software in the emails to defense lawyers in an attempt to catch leakers.

Special Warfare Chief Edward Gallagher who was a Navy SEAL was accused of murder and attempted murder and was found not guilty. He was accused of stabbing an injured ISIS fighter and shooting at civilians during his tour in Iraq in 2017.

Gallagher was found not guilty when Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Corey Scott who testified in exchange for immunity that he had killed the ISIS fighter. During testimony, Scott said that he killed the fighter because he knew that the Iraqi’s were going to torture him so he suffocating him.

Gallagher was sentenced to four months’ time served and part of the reason for the short sentence was because of the shenanigans the prosecution was engaged in.
