AOC’s Double Standard Gets Exposed After Bloomberg Debacle

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez double standard has been exposed after audio and video of Democrat presidential primary candidate Michael Bloomberg emerges.

On Tuesday Michael Bloomberg ended up in hot water after audio emerged from a speech he gave at the Aspen Institution.

Bloomberg said:

“95% of your murders — murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take the description, Xerox it and pass it out to all the cops. They are male, minorities, sixteen to twenty-five. That’s true in New York, that’s true in virtually every city. And, that’s where the real crime is. You’ve got to get the guns out of the hands of the people that are getting killed. You want to spend the money on a lot of cops in the streets. Put the cops where the crime is, which means in minority neighborhoods. So, put the cops where the crime is, which means in minority neighborhoods. So, one of the unintended consequences is people say, “Oh my God, you are arresting kids for marijuana that are all minorities.” Yes, that’s true. Why? Because we put all the cops in minority neighborhoods. Yes. That’s true. Why do we do it? Because that’s where all the crime is. And the way you get the guns out of the kids’ hands is to throw them up against the walls and frisk them. And then they start, “Oh I don’t want to get caught.” So they don’t bring the gun. They still have a gun, but they leave it at home.”

Bloomberg was touting his “stop & frisk” policy one that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been against. In April of 2018 AOC said, “The architect of Stop & Frisk is fundraising for an unelected incumbent presiding over a community that’s 70% people of color and includes Riker’s. A person of color has never repped this seat. But NY doesn’t have issues with race, representation, and money in politics, right?”

AOC is not a friend to law enforcement and has railed against police and stop and frisk policies. But, in the past 24 hours since Michael Bloomberg’s audio has been released we haven’t heard a word from her.
