Kohl’s & Other Retailers Join Movement To Cancel Trump Supporters

Bed Bath and Beyond along with Kohl’s and other retailers are joining the movement to cut ties with Trump supporters.

Both retailers are no longer carrying My Pillow after founder Mike Lindell was banned from twitter for supporting President Trump.

Yahoo News reported:

Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s confirmed last week that they planned to cut ties with MyPillow, citing poor sales. Fintech startup Affirm has also cut ties. According to Lindell, numerous other stores including H-E-B, Kroger, and BJ’s have told MyPillow they will also stop selling the company’s products.

“They were afraid of being boycotted by customers because they live in fear of all these attack groups,” Lindell said. “And they’re not their customers. What’s going to happen to them now is that all the real customers are going to be very upset.”

JC Penny, Wayfair, and QVC have also stopped selling MyPillow products.

Costco, Walmart, Amazon and Lowes are still selling the brand.

Costco has said they will continue to honor their “contractual commitments” with My Pillow and will continue to showcase My Pillow at “special events” in eight states.

A group of conservatives activists had a protest at a Bed Bath & Beyond store in California.

The group filled their carts with products only abandon them, leaving notes behind criticizing the company for being part of the liberal cancel culture machine.

Activists were part of the Media Action Network and in a statement said:

The Media Action Network has launched a Basket Boycott and petition against Bed Bath & Beyond after it announced it was pulling MyPillows due to CEO Mike Lindell’s politics.

We’re encouraging patriots to visit their local Bed Bath & Beyond, fill up a shopping cart, then abandon it with our statement about free speech. And never shop there again until CEO Mark Tritton reverses his decision.

“This isn’t about pillows. It’s about the continual punishment of conservative speech,” said Media Action Network founder Ken LaCorte. “And we’ve had enough.”

“Every time we turn around, another conservative has been silenced under false pretenses of ‘hate’ or ‘isms’ or the most recent offense-de-jour. We’re fighting back.”

As the country starts to emerge from the pandemic and life gets back to normal some of these retailers are about to learn the hard way what happens when they tick off their customers.
