Looking noticeably frail, Biden addressed the nation, promising to explain his abrupt exit as the Democratic Party nominee. Spoiler alert: he didn’t.
Instead of clarity, Biden’s speech left everyone scratching their heads even more. His deteriorating condition and vague explanations only deepened the controversy swirling around him and Vice President Kamala Harris. The big questions remain unanswered: Who’s really in charge? If Biden can’t run for a second term, why is he still in office?
Biden’s main point was that he’s such an incredible president that he dropped out to “unite my party.” Seriously? This whole situation reeks of behind-the-scenes maneuvering. Reading between the lines, it seems like the real power players—think Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi—pushed him out. If Biden’s record is so stellar and he’s fit for a second term, why wouldn’t his own party rally around him? Why wouldn’t he be the best choice to “save our democracy”?

This is a slap in the face to American voters. Biden owed the public a straightforward reason for his sudden departure, especially after millions of primary votes. Instead, he opted to continue the charade, claiming he was in perfect health but stepping aside for vague, unspecified reasons.
We all know the reality. Biden stepped down because he’s no longer physically or mentally capable of being president now or in the future.

In a final, desperate move to please his base, Biden endorsed term limits for the Supreme Court. Changing the makeup of a court that doesn’t rule in your favor? That’s something straight out of a third-world dictator’s playbook. Promoting this from the Oval Office is nothing short of disgusting.

Biden’s address did nothing to quell the growing questions about his health and the people who have been propping him up, especially Kamala Harris. She owns this mess, and it’s high time she faces the music. The nation deserves answers, not more political games.
