Biden Honors Army Team

Joe Biden recently welcomed the United States Military Academy’s Black Knights to the White House to present them with the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy for winning the competition among military academies. The ceremony had been long overdue, as the Army team actually won the trophy back in December after defeating their rival, Navy.

As the cadets marched into the White House, they were met with a feeble and confused Joe Biden. With his old age showing, he stumbled through a five-minute speech that was clearly written for him by his handlers. Even with a teleprompter in front of him, Biden struggled to read the words and appeared lost and disoriented.

One can only imagine the embarrassment and frustration that the cadets must have felt as they watched their commander-in-chief struggle to recognize their accomplishments. It’s sad when our president can’t even get through a five-minute speech without looking like a lost puppy.

At one point, Biden even slurred his words and stumbled while mentioning the “Crawdads Countdown to Kickoff” radio show. It was evident that he had no idea who they were or what they did. And that’s not even the worst of it.

When presented with an Army jersey, Biden seemed confused and even struggled to hand it over to an aide. It’s disheartening to see our country’s leader struggle with simple tasks and basic cognitive functions.

And let’s not forget about his baffling comment about “spouses of the guys running the show.” What does that even mean? It’s clear that Biden’s mental faculties are not at their best.

But perhaps the most egregious moment of the ceremony came when Biden was asked about his message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Considering the current tensions and ongoing violence in the Middle East, this was an important question. Instead of addressing it, Biden brushed it off and seemed completely out of touch with the situation.

America deserves better than this. Our military men and women deserve a commander-in-chief who is strong and capable, not one who struggles to read a teleprompter and can’t even handle a simple jersey exchange.

It’s time for the American people to demand better. We cannot afford a president who is not up to the task. It’s time for Biden to step down and for the true leaders among us to step up and take charge. Our country and our military deserve nothing less.
