Businesses Fume After Health Officials ‘Blindside’ Them With Restrictions

Businesses were blindsided after New York City health officials unleashed a series of strict coronavirus mandates almost mirroring Australia.

Instead of out going Mayor Bill DeBlasio quietly riding off into the sunset he’s decided to turn New York City into Melbourne, Australia announcing new coronavirus restrictions.

NYC announced they are expanding their vaccine mandate forcing children ages 5 to 11 to be vaccinated if they wish to dine indoors or attend an entertainment venue.

DeBlasio also announced a vaccine mandate on all private business in New York City which has workers and elected officials fuming. Kathryn Wylde, head of the business group Partnership for NYC, hammered the outgoing mayor.

“There’s no forewarning, no discussion, no idea about whether it’s legal or who he expects to enforce it,” she said. “There’s been no consultation.

“We were blindsided,” a clearly enraged Wylde said.

DeBlasio also called for universal mandates so “you can’t jump from one industry to another, or one company to another.”

Meanwhile, Joe’s mandate has taken another blow after healthcare workers in Montana successfully blocked it.

“Great news for Montana healthcare workers: A federal judge just granted our request for an injunction on the CMS vaccine #mandate. This unlawful mandate is now blocked in all 50 states,” Senator Daines wrote responding to the announcement from the Attorney General of Montana, Austin Knudsen.
