Caravan Headed For Southern Border Says Report

Folks, brace yourselves for another classic episode of the Biden administration’s border circus. Hundreds of migrants set off from southern Mexico on Sunday, hoping to cross into the U.S. before the November elections. Yes, you heard that right – they’re literally timing their trek to beat the election clock.

According to the Associated Press, this caravan is a hodgepodge of migrants from about 12 different countries, all making a beeline for the U.S. border. They’ve been cooling their heels in Ciudad Hidalgo for weeks, waiting for permits to head north. Miguel Salazar, a migrant from El Salvador, admitted they’re “running the risk” that these precious permits might get blocked.

Salazar’s got a real fear that if former President Trump returns to office, the CBP One app – the handy tool migrants use to schedule border appointments – could be shut down. Imagine that, a government app actually doing something to control the border!

NBC News shared a video of this migrant parade trudging along a highway in Chiapas, backpacks and kids in tow. It’s a heartwarming sight if you’re into chaos and unchecked border crossings.

Last month, Biden finally decided to get tough on border security with an executive order. The plan? Turn away noncitizens whenever the seven-day average of daily border crossings exceeds 2,500. Sounds strict, right? Well, the administration proudly announced a 40 percent drop in border encounters three weeks after this move. But with caravans still marching north, who’s buying that statistic?

In the meantime, we’re left to watch as this new caravan heads our way, hoping to slip in before any serious border policies take effect. Stay tuned for the next episode of Biden’s Border Bungles.
