The total chaos at the southern border is going to get even more bungled in the days ahead. States are preparing for an influx of illegal migrants storming the United States.
There was a border patrol intelligence alert released that warned tens of thousands of illegal migrants were moving on their way to America.
The Customs Board and Protection reported that more than 40,000 illegal immigrants were said to be staged in the Mexican state of Chiapas which is along the Mexico/Guatemalan border. They will soon be at our door.
A source said that Chiapas is right now seeking travel documents from the Mexican government that will enable these migrants to move north and legally leave the Mexican border state.
There are also approximately 15,000 illegal migrants from Oaxaca who are already on their way to the U.S. El Paso, Texas, has already encountered more than 7,000 migrants crossing the border this weekend alone. Border agents, there are already overwhelmed
Even CNN is noting how bad things are at the border, they had this headline: “Everyone Can Now Agree, the U.S. Has a Border Crisis.” The liberal network cited what has become one of the biggest arguments between Republicans and Democrats and they said, “no one is now doubting the chaos and potential migrant surge that could be triggered by an imminent policy shift next week.”
The policy shift in question is Title 42, the Trump-era policy that is set to be lifted on Wednesday of this week.
CNN said that a border that is already strained is about to be stretched to “unforeseeable limits.”
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) said that California does not have the capacity and tools to survive a migrant surge.
“The fact is, what we’ve got right now is not working, and it’s about to break in a post-(Title) 42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership,” he said.
Hope you have an “Unmerry Christmas,” Joe.
