Dem Palm Beach Official DESTROY’S 60 Minutes, Exposes CBS Report, Proves It Was ‘Intentionally False’

Liberals are proving the depths they will go to attack Republicans that are effectively combating the coronavirus.

The CBS show, 60 Minutes deceptively edited an interaction with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis claiming the grocery store chain Publix “paid to play” in order to distribute the CVOID vaccine.

Below is a partial transcript aired by 60 Minutes:

“Publix, as you know, donated $100,000 to your campaign,” Alfonsi angrily says. “And then you rewarded them with the exclusive rights to distribute the vaccination in Palm Beach –”

“First, of all what you’re saying is wrong,” DeSantis fires back.

“How is that not pay for play?” Alfonsi shouts back.

“That’s a fake narrative,” DeSantis explains. “I met with the county mayor, I met with the administrator, I met with all the folks at Palm Beach County and I said, ‘Here’s some of the options: We can do more drive-thru sites, we can give more to hospitals, we can do the Publix.’ And they said, ‘We think that would be the easiest thing for our residents.’”

Alfonsi shouts back that Palm Beach County Commissioner Melissa McKinlay says DeSantis “never met with her about the Publix deal.” She then heckles the governor: “The criticism here is that is pay for play, governor!”

“And it’s wrong, it’s wrong,” DeSantis replies. “It’s a fake narrative. I just disabused you of the narrative. And you don’t care about the facts. Because, obviously, I laid it out for you in a way that is irrefutable.”

However, that clip was deceptively edited and did not include DeSantis entire response. There was a video of DeSantis full response but it vanished from YouTube however, the Publix grocery store chain, local Democrats, and other officials are all calling the 60 Minutes hit piece fake news.

Palm Beach County, Florida Mayor Dave Kerner released a statement after he watched the 60 Minutes piece stating it was more than just “based on bad information” but that it was “intentionally false.”

I know this because I offered to provide my insight into Palm Beach County’s vaccination efforts and 60 Minutes declined,” Kerner said. “They know that the Governor came to Palm Beach County and met with me and the County Administrator and we asked to expand the state’s partnership with Publix to Palm Beach County.”

“We also discussed our own local plans to expand mass vaccinations centers throughout the county, which the Governor has been incredibly supportive. We asked and he delivered. They had that information, and they left it out because it kneecaps their narrative,” added Democrat Mayor Dave Kerner.

Kerner than went after the media…

“We have confronted this pandemic for over a year. Our residents, like all Americans, are tired. And the media is making it worse. They are hellbent on dividing us for cheap views and clicks,” Kerner said.


Thanks to the efforts of DeSantis with the cooperation of Kerner 75% of the total senior population in Palm Beach County has been vaccinated.
