Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib was caught spreading fake news in a post that blamed Israelis for a murder. The congresswomen tried to delete the post but, she got caught.
Tlaib retweeted a claim that “Israeli settlers” had “kidnapped and executed” a Palestinian boy that had gone missing. What really occurred was that Israeli emergency search and rescue found him dead in a cistern after he had gone missing. The fake news spread by Palestinian propagandists on twitter resulted in small outbreaks of violence in East Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Post reports:
A Twitter account called “Real Seif Bitar” tweeted that the boy had been kidnapped and executed and showed a video of the boy’s body being found by emergency services. The tweet claimed that the boy was kidnapped by “Israeli settlers, assaulted and thrown in a water well, was found this morning frozen to death in Beit Hanina, Jerusalem after Israeli forces assaulted search teams.” Palestinian politician Hanan Ashrawi re-tweeted the allegation and added “the heart just shatters, the pain is unbearable, no words.” Congresswoman Tlaib then retweeted the Ashrawi tweet that included the allegations.
Later in the day, Ashrawi apologized for her post, “My apologies for re-tweeting something that’s not fully verified. It seems that the news of his being kidnapped is not certain.” Ashrawi in a series of other posts made additional clarifications of the story and then deleted her original post.
Tlaib received backlash over the irresponsibility of her post.

Of course, you have probably noticed that the media has completely ignored the story, that’s because there’s a “D” next to her name instead of an “R.”
Tlaib was the only fool lately in the Democrat party, a Virginia Democrat looked silly when he tried to explain what an “assault rifle” is, and Rep. Schiff has been exposed for withholding evidence from the Trump defense team.
