They are still digging bodies out of the ground but that isn’t stopping Democrat operatives from using the Surfside Condo collapse to attack DeSantis.
Over the weekend, Washington Post reporter Hannah Dreier falsely eluded DeSantis was negligent in declaring an emergency.
“There’s a saying in emergency management: The first 24 hours are the only 24 hours. FEMA was ready to deploy to the condo collapse almost immediately, and included the crisis in its daily briefing, but didn’t get permission from Gov. DeSantis to get on the ground for a full day,” Post reporter Hannah Dreier said:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Press Secretary Christina Pushaw debunked the fake news report. Pushaw reported that Miami Dade County first responders were on scene within minutes. At 4:40 the county mayor signed a local emergency declaration and less than an hour later Governor Ron DeSantis signed an emergency order.

Others have responded, but a point I wanted to drive home is that Miami Dade County first responders were on site rescuing people within MINUTES. The state (@FLSERT) activated by 2:30AM. It’s dishonest and gross to pretend the rescue effort was delayed at all.

Note in the video below Biden also eluded that DeSantis hasn’t done his job, yet commented that Democrat officials have communicated with him.
Democrat’s and the media made a similar play over DeSantis vaccine rollout plan, it’s only a matter of time before the DeSantis Russia stories start.
