DeSantis Even Has the Liberal Press Acknowledging His Popular Education Agenda

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) has felt the full force of the left, both in political leaders and the mainstream media. He hasn’t backed down on his message of putting students first and protecting the rights of parents in their children’s education.
And now, a new teacher’s union poll has proven that the governor’s agenda is more powerful than the agenda of Democrats.
The American Federations of Teachers revealed that in battleground states, voters highly approve of the education polities of DeSantis and his team.
In Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, 56% of voters said they were “much more likely or somewhat more likely to vote for candidates who believe public schools should focus less on teaching students about race and racism and more on core academic subjects.”
The majority of people polled believe that parents should have more say in what’s being taught to their children.
“We have drawn a very clear line in the sand that says our school system is for educating kids not indoctrinating kids,” DeSantis said in a speech recently. He added, “We’ve also drawn a clear line to say parents have a fundamental role in the education of their kids.”
The governor’s team describes its agenda is that it is a student-first, parent-centered initiative. It is focused on setting Florida’s children up for success. And it ensures parental rights in education as it combats the “woke” agenda from getting into public schools.
He has weathered the left’s storm of opposition and has stood strong against the woke mob and their racial agenda.
The governor is committed to this, “Educate, don’t indoctrinate, guarantee the right of parents to curriculum transparency, ensure parental rights in education and keep woke gender ideology out of schools and keep schools open and reject lockdowns.”
Even the liberal media outlets are having to acknowledge that people like it.
NBC News said that DeSantis “has been smart about where to draw the line.”
