Watch: Cat Catches Dr. Fauci’s Tongue Goes Silent When Asked About His Buddy NY Gov. Cuomo, ‘I Prefer Not To…

Pigs have started to fly for once Dr. Fauci has nothing to say. He was as tight as a clam when asked about his old buddy, Governor Andrew Cuomo.

In May of 2020 we all learned of the close friendship between the Cuomo’s and Fauci after CNN anchor Chris Cuomo claimed to be diagnosed with the coronavirus.

During a segment on his show Cuomo said to Fauci, “I have spoken to you, almost without exception, every day. And you have been calling me out of personal concern to make sure that I’m OK, that my wife was OK, my son was OK.”

The New York Post discovered that Fauci – born in Brooklyn – has been friends with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo since they have been kids.

“I cared about you, but I was worried about you. That’s the reason why I kept calling,” Fauci added.

Fast forward almost eight months, Fauci would rather not talk about the Cuomo’s after news broke that the New York Governor hid nursing homes death toll tallies from the Justice Department.

CNN host Jim Sciutto asked Fauci, “You’re a New Yorker yourself, though you don’t live there right now. Andrew Cuomo is coming under criticism now for the big move back to long-term care facilities in the midst of this crisis here. He’s argued that his state was following federal guidelines when he ordered those long-term care facilities to accept patients returning from hospitals. I wonder, can you clear that up. Was he actually following federal guidelines to do that?”

“You know, Jim, I can’t,” Fauci replied. “I mean, I’m sorry. I’m really — I’m honestly not trying to evade your question, but I’m not really sure of all the details of that, and I think if I make a statement, it probably could either be incorrect or taken out of context. So, I prefer not to comment on that.”

Since when has Fauci not wanted to comment on something having to do with the coronavirus?

He most certainly was evading the question especially as more state politicians on both sides of the aisle are calling for Cuomo to step down.

It was Fauci that criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decisions.

“Despite the guidelines and the recommendations to open up carefully and prudently, some states skipped over those and just opened up too quickly,” Fauci said on a podcast in July 2020. “Certainly Florida … I think jumped over a couple of checkpoints.”

DeSantis and the people of Florida have faired far better than Cuomo in New York.

Now all of a sudden Fauci has nothing to say.
