Fauci who claimed to have a mild case of COVID because he was vaccinated is still very ill.
On June 28, 2022, Fauci said that he is suffering from “COVID rebound” after being treated with Paxlovid.
Paxlovid is a drug developed by Pfizer that was hailed by President Biden and others as the “silver bullet” against COVID-19.
When Fauci – better known as “science” incarnate – initially tested positive he experienced mild symptoms however over time his condition got worse. That was when he was prescribed a five-day course of Paxlovid.
However, “science” has yet to fully recover, only four days after testing negative Fauci came back positive and seems to be dealing with the virus all over again.
Since the resurgence of COVID Fauci said that his symptoms are “much worse” the second time around.
Paxlovid was designed to be used by a COVID-positive person to limit symptoms so they don’t end up in the hospital. Biden was so excited about the drug he touted it during his State of the Union speech.
“If you get COVID-19, the Pfizer pill reduces your chances of ending up in the hospital by 90 percent,” Biden said. “I’ve ordered more pills than anyone in the world has. Pfizer is working overtime to get us a million pills this month and more than double that next month.”
When Fauci made the announcement about his health remotely at the Foreign Policy Global Health forum he called for another “aggressive” public vaccination campaign.
“If you locked down only for the sake of locking down, sooner or later the virus is going to enter or re-enter into your country,” Fauci said. “The purpose should be to get a very aggressive vaccination campaign to all citizens.”
Fauci is also on the second round of Paxlovid.
“I am on my fourth day of a five-day course of my second course of Paxlovid. And fortunately, I feel reasonably good. I mean, I’m not complete[ly] without symptoms, but I certainly don’t feel acutely ill,” Fauci said.
