Fox News host Greg Gutfeld has been one of the most vocal critics of the mainstream media’s coverage of the Durham Report. In a recent segment on his show, “The Five,” Gutfeld explained what the report means for the future of the country.
“The Durham Report is a bombshell,” Gutfeld said. “It’s a smoking gun that proves the mainstream media lied to us about the 2020 election.”
The Durham Report is a series of investigations by Special Counsel John Durham into the origins of the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The report has found that the FBI relied on “numerous false statements” from Christopher Steele, the author of the Steele dossier, in order to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

Gutfeld said that the Durham Report is a “wake-up call” for the American people. “The mainstream media has been lying to us for years,” he said. “They’ve been trying to destroy Donald Trump and his supporters.”
Greg Gutfeld then hit it out of the park: “You have people saying the country will not survive Trump so your moral duty is to cheat… They created a devil that was so big and so vast that it made all action permissible and it made every institution subject to suspicion.”
Democrats convinced themselves that “democracy” is in such danger that they should be allowed to violate the tenets of “democracy” in order to save it. That is the logic we see from the left.
Gutfeld’s comments are a reflection of the growing anger among conservatives over the mainstream media’s coverage of the 2020 election. A recent poll found that 72% of Republicans believe that the mainstream media is biased against them.
It remains to be seen what the long-term impact of the Durham Report will be. However, it is clear that the report has already had a significant impact on the political landscape, and Gutfied hit the bullseye.
