Former Strategist Stuart Stevens Comments On Kamala During Segment On MSNBC

Stuart Stevens, a former Republican strategist, recently praised Vice President Kamala Harris for running an “outstanding campaign” against former President Donald Trump.

According to the RealClearPolling average from October 8-22, Harris has gained a slight lead over Trump, edging ahead by 0.6% overall, with her lead expanding to 0.8% when third-party candidates—Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party), Cornel West (Independent), and Chase Oliver (Libertarian)—are included.

Stevens highlighted Harris’ strategic use of Hollywood figures, such as “West Wing” star Bradley Whitford and “Good Wife” actress Christine Baranski, to energize the campaign. These actors bring a unique connection to voters, particularly when they visit areas where they have personal ties. Stevens explained how this celebrity involvement strengthens the campaign’s message, suggesting that when voters see these famous figures advocating for Harris, it fosters a sense of shared values and familiarity. “What it’s really saying is, you and I are not that different. I’m famous, but we share the same values. Let’s work together on this,” Stevens commented.

Is he joking? These Hollywood elites have nothing in common with the everyday person who is struggling to buy groceries, pay their rent or mortgage, and can hardly afford gas. What world is he living in? I’m sure Eminem is a great role model for our kids and is exactly who everyone wants to look to.

He predicted a comfortable victory for Harris, describing the campaign as one of the best executed in modern history. His optimism, however, comes amidst a backdrop of tighter races in key battleground states. For example, Trump holds narrow leads over Harris in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina, according to various RealClearPolling averages. In Pennsylvania, Trump is up by 0.6% in recent polls, while in Michigan, his lead stands at 0.6% as well. However, these margins narrow or shift when third-party candidates are included in the surveys, a factor that could potentially shape the final outcome.

Funny CNN isn’t even saying this:

Yet despite Stuart Stevens’ glowing review, Kamala Harris’ campaign trail has been anything but smooth sailing. Let’s not forget that nearly all of her public speaking engagements have been, frankly, disastrous. Whether it’s her awkward pauses, meandering answers, or moments where she just doesn’t seem to address the question at hand, she’s been consistently out of sync with the voters she’s trying to woo.

Poll after poll shows her lagging in key battleground states, and even CNN—yes, CNN—has pointed out her failure to connect with voters. Add to that the fact she still can’t seem to offer any concrete answers on the pressing issues, and you’ve got to wonder: just how long can this “perfectly executed” campaign keep the spin going?
