Joe Biden decided to take a victory lap after being voted the winner of the 2020 election by the Electoral College.
In a phlegm ranting speech, Biden rubbed salt in the wound attacking Trump supporters and the President for daring to contest the election results.
Biden said the election was “free and fair” and he thanked the Supreme Court for rejecting the State of Texas lawsuit.
“This legal maneuver was an effort by elected officials and one group of states to try to get the Supreme Court to wipe out the votes of more than 20 million Americans in other states and to hand the presidency to a candidate who lost the Electoral College, lost the popular vote and lost each and every one of the states whose votes they were trying to reverse. It’s a position so extreme, we’ve never seen it before,” he said.
In a phlegm inducing rage, Biden clear his throat and called the maneuver “a position that refused to respect the will of the people, refused to respect the rule of law and refused to honor our Constitution.”
“It is my sincere hope we never again see anyone subjected to the kinds of threats and abuse we saw in this election. It’s simply unconscionable,” Biden said.
“There is urgent work in front of all of us,” he said. “Getting the pandemic under control to getting the nation vaccinated against this virus. Delivering immediate economic help so badly needed by so many Americans who are hurting today — and then building our economy back better than it ever was.”
So much for unity, the speech was more like the rantings of Grampa Simpson, from the cartoon series, “The Simpsons.”
If Biden is mad now just wait until January 6th when hopefully a Republican Congressman and Senator will be brave enough to stop the certification of the election. At the very least America is owed and complete detailed audit of election results in battleground states. That’s all President Trump and his supporters are asking for. If an honest, detailed, nonpartisan audit is done and it turns out Joe Biden was the winner Trump supporters would accept it. The problem is that’s not what is happening and that is why President Trump and his supporters are fighting and will continue to fight up until January 20th.
