Guess Whose Law Firm the Judge In Trump’s New Case Worked For? Watch

A federal judge who is presiding over a case related to the 2020 election has come under fire for having worked at the same law firm as Hunter Biden.

After being ‘randomly selected’ to lead the case after a grand jury indicted Trump on four charges over an alleged effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan’s resume and record quickly began to be a focus of attention.

This case is similar to the Florida judge who is presiding over Smith’s other, documents-focused case against Trump.

Hunter Biden worked at the same firm as an attorney from 2009 to 2014, as shown by Open Secrets. The New York Post reported that it is unclear whether Chutkan interacted with him during the period they overlapped. In addition, records show she donated to the campaigns of former President Barack Obama and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) while employed by the firm.

“The Swamp is real,” Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) said in a post to X. He was answering a post by Monica Crowley, a Trump-era Treasury official who highlighted Chutkan’s ties to Obama and Hunter Biden, commenting, “This is the level of contempt they have for the Constitution, the rule of law – and YOU.”

“This is nothing more than the latest corrupt chapter in the continued pathetic attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their weaponized Department of Justice to interfere with the 2024 Presidential Election, in which President Trump is the undisputed frontrunner, and leading by substantial margins,” said a statement from Trump’s campaign on Tuesday.

Trump, who is expected to be arraigned on Thursday, has been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstructing an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
