Harris Comments On Ceasefire Talks

It’s a somber day when the leader of the free world responds to the brutal execution of American hostages by pushing for a ceasefire with the very terrorists responsible.

Yet, that’s exactly what Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration have done in the wake of Hamas murdering six innocent civilians, including American Hersh Goldberg-Polin. While families are grieving and Israeli forces are discovering the bodies of their loved ones in Gaza, this administration’s focus is on negotiating with the perpetrators. It’s a tragic reminder of the weakness that has come to define this White House, and the cost of that failure is measured in lives lost.

Think about it: while Joe Biden was sunbathing on the Delaware shore, Hamas was executing six hostages, one of them an Israeli-American. The bodies were found in Gaza—six lives brutally ended, and yet the administration’s response is to push for a ceasefire with the very group responsible.

Does anyone believe Hamas is negotiating in good faith? They’ve rejected ceasefire after ceasefire because the deal demands they release hostages—hostages who, by the way, are still being held as leverage while innocent blood is shed.

Let’s not forget the stories behind these six victims. Hersh Goldberg-Polin, only 23, was captured at a music festival. He was just trying to enjoy his life when terrorists ripped him away. Carmel Gat, taken from her parents’ home, had her life stolen in the place where she grew up. And what about Alexander Lobanov, a father of two who never even got to meet his youngest child, born while he was held captive?

These are not just numbers or statistics—these are people, innocent human beings whose lives were shattered by the cruelty of a terrorist organization. And the White House thinks the answer is to negotiate with these killers? It’s beyond comprehension.

Now Biden’s pointing fingers, even blaming Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for not securing a peace deal, as if this whole nightmare is somehow Israel’s fault. The fact that this administration seems more concerned with appeasing Hamas and its sympathizers than standing firm with our allies should be alarming to every American.

The truth is clear: the Biden administration is walking on eggshells, worried about offending pro-Hamas voters or the radical left. And in doing so, they’re abandoning not just Israel but the principles of justice and security that once made America a strong, respected leader on the world stage.
