Americans (even liberal ones) are starting not to care and health officials are losing credibility.
Despite official’s hopes of canceling Christmas Americans decided they’ve had enough.

Over Christmas weekend a video of dancing doctors and nursing went viral except it didn’t have the desired effect officials were hoping for, it really ticked off a lot of people. You’ll notice the video is highly produced and it was meant to be authoritarian propaganda.
This is super creepy https://t.co/X3ZckVRR97

In other hospitals, nursing posted dancing TikTok videos celebrating.
Why I love my job @The_BMC ! Teams of people working to safely and equitably distribute vaccines to their front line colleagues getting cheered on by their friends celebrating the arrival of the vaccines! A great day, a great place. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/XfrIthFIY5

The nurses that dancing telling us to stay home, and are dancing to guilt us into getting the vaccine are the same nurses that supported the BLM mass protest that flew in the face of coronavirus restrictions.
Other Nurses are jumping into the political sphere claiming that people who get COVID are selfish. According to these hyper-liberal health officials trying to feed your family is selfish.
This is a terrible argument
Working to feed your family is not eating candy
We accept risks on the job everyday and many people work jobs with a higher risk of injury or death than they face with COVID
Use this logic for anyone who ever fought in a war https://t.co/ktmM6b6Smd

All of this comes off the heals of Fauci once again admitting he lied about herd immunity to force Americans to the coronavirus vaccine.
From the New York Times phone interview with Dr. Fauci:
Dr. Fauci acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts. He is doing so, he said, partly based on new science, and partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.
Dr. Fauci went on to even more expressly admit that he had fudged his public pronouncements in order to encourage people to take the vaccine. According to the Times, Dr. Fauci was ready to raise his estimates “weeks ago” but refused because “many Americans seemed hesitant about vaccines, which they would need to accept almost universally in order for the country to achieve herd immunity.”
Blithely continuing to explain how polling, rather than science, informed his public pronouncements, Fauci went on: “When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent. Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.“
Fauci went on to say that his future proclamations will be more about what he thinks the public should hear not science. “We need to have some humility here. We really don’t know what the real number is (to reach herd immunity). I think the real range is somewhere between 70 to 90 percent. But, I’m not going to say 90 percent.”
I’ll leave with a quote from Glenn Greenwald…
“The COVID-driven centralization of economic power and information control in the hands of a few corporate monopolies poses enduring threats to political freedom….The dominant strain of U.S. neoliberalism — the ruling coalition now in power again — is authoritarianism.”
