Sure, Democrats are popping up all over the nation that wants a new nominee for the next presidential election. President Biden’s approval rating continues to sink, so ideas for his replacement keep rising up.
But could this long-shot really be something that people see as a viable option?
Some are indicating that it is not an impossible scenario that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to make a bid for the White House.

Can you imagine how her crazed fans would react if AOC announces her candidacy? The consensus in the D.C. Beltway is that it is not out of the question.
The novice legislator has not commented on whether or not she is endorsing Biden for a second term. She told CNN in an interview, “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.”
AOC does not seem to have trouble raising money and she has a massive social media following with more than 13 million followers on Twitter alone.
So those doing the polls are actually testing her name among other more “viable” or “seasoned” candidates, and her levels of support are modest, but she’s in the mix!

An Echelon Insights poll, she came in 6th place and only two percentage points behind 3rd place candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).
The Washington Post this month ranked her 10th in a list of the most likely Democratic nominees in 2024, and the list included Biden.
Here’s one big question, is she even old enough? The minimum age to be president is 35. Ocasio-Cortez will celebrate her 35th birthday roughly three weeks before Election Day 2024.
It’s a long shot…but in American politics today, you can’t rule anything out.
