Israel Reportedly Intercepts Flotilla

The so-called “Selfie Flotilla,” officially named the Global Sumud Flotilla, set out with more than 40 vessels and some 500 activists, aiming to smash Israel’s blockade of Gaza under the guise of “delivering humanitarian aid.”

Israel, unimpressed, responded as it always does: with decisive force and military precision. Surveillance footage shows Israeli commandos in night-vision gear boarding the flotilla and detaining its passengers, who included none other than the “Doom Pixie” herself, along with former Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau and European Parliament member Rima Hassan.

Greta’s celebrity didn’t shield her from the obvious reality: Israel isn’t about to let a single boat — much less 39 of them — resupply Hamas under the cover of virtue-signaling aid.

As anyone with eyes can see, Hamas has a long record of seizing humanitarian shipments and diverting them for rockets, bunkers, and war machinery. The flotilla’s sheer size was supposed to overwhelm Israeli defenses, but the only thing overwhelmed here was the activists’ sense of strategy.

Now, the mighty “armada” has been reduced to a single boat, limping toward Gaza before contact was lost just miles from shore. Its fate is obvious. Israel will either tow it back, detain its passengers, or simply cut communications — but one way or another, the blockade will hold.

And what of Greta? She’ll be rewarded not with applause, but with an economy-class ticket home, seated far in the back of a carbon-belching jetliner — the same sort of transportation she’s spent years demonizing. No solar-powered sailboats this time, just the indignity of coach seating and a bruised ego.

It’s worth noting the larger irony here. The activists talk of “international law,” yet they deliberately intruded into a war zone, effectively offering material support to Hamas. In centuries past, such behavior would have justified a naval commander sinking the flotilla without hesitation. Instead, Israel is being generous — confiscating the cargo for proper distribution and deporting the “useful idiots” involved.

As for Greta, the pattern is becoming clear. The climate crusade didn’t pan out; her scolding grew stale. Now she’s attaching her brand to anti-Israel activism in the hope of keeping her 15 minutes alive.

But rather than being hailed as a heroine, she’s being laughed at as a sideshow — a tragicomic figure desperate to stay relevant, yet increasingly reduced to a punchline.
