Shut the front, back, and side doors! James O’Keefe just dropped a journalism bomb after being ousted from Project Veritas last month. Just a few weeks ago he launched the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) and on Tuesday the new company scored its first big story.
The spotlight is on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) data regarding the Democratic fundraiser group ActBlue. Their investigation found what O’Keefe describes as “a bizarre amount of data” on donation activity from individual donors, particularly senior citizens.
Some individuals are recorded as making thousands of donations each year that in some cases total more than $200,000.
Let me state that again, there are thousands of donations each year that add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars under various sole individuals.
O’Keefe took this public information and traveled to Maryland to track down some of the donors from that state and confirm with them if they had indeed been making thousands of small donations a year to ActBlue.
Here’s just one crazy example, one woman was recorded making over 1,000 individual donations in the year 2022 for a total of a little over $18,000. So that means she was given three times a day for a whole year. She was asked if she had done that and the senior told O’Keefe that she had donated a few dollars here and there, but she had not donated that much money, nor that many times.
“ACTBlue is what I donate to politically sometimes, and I do not make that many contributions. I wish I could donate 18 thousand to Biden’s presidency. Like I said I donate five dollars once in a while, because I give to various other charities,” the woman said to O’Keefe.
An Arizona resident, age 80, was recorded as having made 18,672 individual contributions for a total of $170,221.37.
The data indicates that she made up to ten contributions a day at times. When she was asked about it, she seemed shocked and denied doing it.
O’Keefe’s media company is encouraging “brave citizen journalists” from all over the nation to ask similar questions of the people who have been reported as giving.
