Jefferies Discusses New Report On Trump

Hakeem Jeffries had a rough Sunday. He showed up on ABC News’ This Week thinking he could do what Democrats always do—blame Donald Trump for literally everything wrong in the world, despite the fact that Trump has barely had time to rearrange the furniture in the Oval Office. But this time, the script didn’t go as planned.

Jeffries, as expected, started rambling about the high cost of living and how, in his infinite wisdom, he traced it all back to—you guessed it—Donald Trump. Because, obviously, the inflation crisis that started under Biden, skyrocketed due to reckless government spending, and crushed the middle class is somehow Trump’s fault after only three weeks in office. Sure, Hakeem. Whatever you say.

Unless Trump has a time machine hidden somewhere at Mar-a-Lago that allows him to go back and reverse all of Biden’s disastrous policies, blaming him for this mess is nothing short of political fantasy. And while Elon Musk is a pretty smart guy, I wouldn’t count on him cranking out time machines at Tesla or SpaceX anytime soon to help Democrats escape their self-inflicted misery.

But the real magic happened when This Week host John Karl decided to hit Jeffries with some actual facts. And not just any facts—survey numbers. The cold, hard, brutal kind that make Democrats break out into a nervous sweat.

Karl laid it out:

60% of Americans favor deporting illegal immigrants.
63% favor gov’t recognizing only two sexes.
60% support expanding oil and gas production.
59% want to declare an emergency at the southern border.

Translation: Trump’s policies are wildly popular, and the Democrats are stuck in the unenviable position of defending policies that the vast majority of Americans oppose. In other words, they’re defending the indefensible, and they have no coherent answers. And judging by Jeffries’ face, that realization hit him like a freight train.

You could actually see the moment the gears stopped turning in his head. It was like watching a deer caught in the headlights—frozen, blinking, unsure whether to run or just accept his fate. I half-expected him to start stammering, “B-but… CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS! This is a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS!”

The best part? He had absolutely nothing to say. No spin, no clever retort, nothing. Just a blank stare as the reality of Trump’s success set in. If Democrats weren’t already panicking, they should be now.

So what’s Jeffries’ big plan to counter all of this? Well, if you can believe it, he’s forming a Rapid Response Task Force. No, seriously. Apparently, the Democrats think that slapping a fancy name on a last-minute damage-control team is going to undo the fact that Americans are rejecting their policies in record numbers.

Honestly, I can’t tell if this task force is supposed to fix their messaging or just act as a group therapy session for Democrats who can’t handle Trump’s approval ratings climbing by the day. Either way, the whole thing feels like a circus, and I can almost hear the calliope music playing in the background as Jeffries scrambles to figure out what’s gone so horribly wrong.

It can’t be fun being a Democrat right now. Every day, they have to look straight into the camera and try to convince America that the last four years of economic pain, border chaos, and international embarrassment were actually good for the country. Meanwhile, they have to pretend that Trump bringing back energy independence, securing the border, and restoring American pride is somehow a disaster. It’s a tough sell, and Jeffries’ face said it all—he knows it.

The bottom line? “Trump is responsible for Bidenflation” isn’t going to cut it, Hakeem. The American people are wide awake, and they’re not buying what the Democrats are selling.
