On Sunday it was announced that Senator Rand Paul tested positive for the Coronavirus, his office posted:
Senator Rand Paul has tested positive for COVID-19. He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person.

He expects to be back in the Senate after his quarantine period ends and will continue to work for the people of Kentucky at this difficult time. Ten days ago, our D.C. office began operating remotely, hence virtually no staff has had contact with Senator Rand Paul.

What liberals are hoping for is just disgusting.
And since we KNOW he’s been arguing publicly and privately with Mitch McConnell for DAYS it’s only a matter of time…

The only Senator to delay help for Coronavirus, @RandPaul, is the first to be diagnosed with it.
Yes, I wish him a speedy recovery.
Yes, his brinksmanship on the bill hurt Americans who – unlike himself – are very unlikely to recover from it. https://t.co/69Wl6A3szs— Louise Mensch (@LouiseMensch) March 22, 2020
So GOP Sen. Rand Paul had no symptoms, and no known contact with anyone who contracted the coronavirus, but because “he travels a lot“ they gave him the coronavirus test anyway, in flagrant violation of CDC rules while the rest of us can’t get tested.

Paul delayed a vote for several days by forcing an amendment on the Corona virus response, and then voted against the final bill. That bill includes a provision making testing free.
So he got a test that he voted against everyone else being able to get.
