Deep State Shuffle: Lindsey Graham Moves Things Behind Closed Doors

Senator Lindsey Graham has broken a huge promise and now he’s moved things behind closed doors.

The Senator from South Carolina has still refused to hold one public hearing on the Mueller probe. Graham had promised on May 1, 2019, that as the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee he would investigate how the Mueller probe started.

The comments were made while he was questioning US Attorney General Bill Barr during a Senate Committee hearing.

But that was all a lie, Graham has not scheduled any political hearings into the coup that was designed to take down a sitting President of the United States of America.

Graham did request the Department of Justice prepare 21 former and current Obama officials to testify before the US Sent.

However, as Paul Sperry reported a couple of weeks ago, “Despite promising for several months now to hold hearings on the FISA Abuses/ #SpyGate and Biden-Burisma/Ukraine interference scandals, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham still has no hearings scheduled, according to his committee calendar.”

Earlier this week Graham did announce that he is going to hold hearings and interviews on the FISA Court abuse scandal that occurred in 2016 however, he is moving them behind closed doors.

The Hill reported:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Tuesday that he has started closed-door interviews as part of his deep dive into the surveillance courts and the FBI’s Russia probe.

Graham confirmed to reporters that he has started the depositions, then escaped into a Senate elevator.

Graham is using his gavel to probe the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) surveillance warrants involving Trump campaign associate Carter Page and the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Russia’s election meddling and the Trump campaign.

He’s requested testimony from more than 20 current Justice Department and FBI officials.

He also wants to call former officials including former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates before his committee.

Graham has said a lot but has done very little. The only Republican Senator that is conducting hearings as promised is Senator Ron Johnson who issued subpoenas this week investigating Burisma and the Biden’s.
