Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continues to leave her mark all over the nation. After making it known that she planned to protest with Trump supporters outside of the NYC courthouse on Tuesday while Trump was being arraigned, the NYC mayor responded that it was delusional.
After lecturing those who support Trump to “control yourselves,” he went even further and targeted MTG.
“NYC is our home, not a playground for your misplaced anger…although we have no specific threats, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, stated she is coming to town,” Adams said.
Understand this, Mayor Adams can’t control his city. People are leaving in droves because of uncontrollable crime, and he dares to talk to somebody else about “controlling themselves?” Even more, he uses the “rule of law” as his context for the lecture. Come on.
The mayor’s prosecutor, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, is one of the reasons there is so much chaos in the city. He has spent much of his time targeting former President Donald Trump in this case.
Adams continued to lash out at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), saying she should be on her “best behavior,” and accusing her of “misinformation.” This looks like an attempt to make sure she is focused on if there is any commotion at the courthouse.
MTG can handle herself with no problem, “Delusional @NYCMayor is trying to intimidate, threaten, and stop me from using my 1st amendment rights to peacefully protest the Democrat’s unconstitutional weaponization of our justice system against our top Republican Presidential candidate, President Trump,” Greene tweeted.
“Mayor Adams should be more concerned about NY citizens and taxpayers being murdered, raped, robbed, and carjacked than an elected Member of Congress coming to town. Or should I be the one concerned that the mayor of NYC will weaponize his government or maybe his thugs like DA Alvin Bragg against me?” MTG said.
In New York, MTG also said that Adams and Bragg “should be ashamed of themselves.”
