Navarro Discusses Text Messages

In the ever-deepening labyrinth of political scandal, the Epstein saga has returned—not with a whisper but a roar—and this time, the target is Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett.

As has now emerged, Plaskett not only received tens of thousands of dollars from Jeffrey Epstein after his conviction, but maintained contact with him via text—specifically during Michael Cohen’s 2019 congressional testimony. According to reports, those messages were aimed at crafting questions that would inflict maximum damage on Donald Trump.

Pause there. Epstein. Post-conviction. Strategic coordination with a sitting member of Congress. And all this, while Democrats were publicly framing themselves as the moral compass of Capitol Hill.

This development is not just inconvenient; it’s radioactive. And ironically, it’s Democrats—through their own push to release Epstein-related documents—who have illuminated the extent of their own party’s entanglements. The moment is dripping with irony: a searchlight turned outward suddenly catches their own shadows.

CNN’s Ana Navarro appeared visibly caught off-guard during a recent segment where she attempted to create a buffer of moral ambiguity. She cited that many prominent individuals, from Deepak Chopra to unnamed elites, continued their association with Epstein after his sweetheart plea deal in Florida. Her argument seemed aimed at spreading the blame across a social elite, instead of focusing on the accountability of elected officials. But it was CNN contributor Scott Jennings who made the moment truly memorable—and uncomfortable for Navarro.

When Jennings directly asked if the same standard applied to Plaskett and whether she should resign, Navarro deflected. Jennings pressed harder: “She was being programmed by him after the moment you said we all knew.” Navarro, visibly cornered, couldn’t find a foothold.

With Trump now publicly demanding the full release of Epstein documents—not just the curated version put forward by Democrats—the pressure is mounting. If there’s more to come, and all signs suggest there is, this could be the crack that breaks the dam. Because once the public sees that the party painting itself as morally superior had its own members actively collaborating with a known predator for political advantage, the entire narrative begins to collapse.
