Former President Barak Obama sent a heated letter to his former White House doctor, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), regarding the fact that he raised questions about President Joe Biden’s cognitive health during the 2020 campaign. Jackson was the White House physician for former Presidents Obama, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump.
Jackson said that he saw this as an issue during the campaign and tweeted honestly about it.
“Biden was on TV again, making crazy statements and concerning mental gaffes; he didn’t know what state he was in or what office he was campaigning for,” Jackson said of the 2020 campaign.
“He apparently thought at one point that he was running for the Senate and later couldn’t remember what state he was campaigning in. This had been going on for months and was getting worse.”
Jackson wrote in his new book that Trump never made crazy statements like the one Biden was making just about every day. He said people were constantly crying out for Trump to take cognitive tests because he supposedly was “not fit to be president.”
While Jackson was running for Congress in 2020, the lack of attention from the media on Biden’s cognitive frailty was a concern for the former White House doc.
He retweeted a video of Biden’s “latest cognitive misadventure” with the message: “Remember the cognitive test that I gave @realDonaldTrump? The one he aced! Sounds like somebody else might need some testing done!! Scary!!”
This is what prompted the very angry email letter from Obama.
“I have made a point of not commenting on your service in my successor’s administration and have always spoken highly of you both in public and in private. You always served me and my family well, and I have considered you not only a fine doctor and service member but also a friend,” Obama wrote in the email.
“That’s why I have to express my disappointment at the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden via Twitter. It was unprofessional and beneath the office that you once held. It was also disrespectful to me and the many friends you had in our administration,” Obama wrote to Jackson.
I guess Obama is going to have to write another letter to the New York Times, they now have questioned Biden’s cognitive ability.
