Welcome back, folks! Today, our focus is on the recent attacks on JD Vance, which has turned out to be quite a non-event. A group of those opposed to Trump within the Republicans believed this to be a substantial attack against Trump’s running mate. However, the facts reveal a different story.

Michael Tracey takes a similar stand, responding with, “Pretending to be scandalized or offended by JD being a typical goofball in his youth is so dumb, this is a benignly funny pic and you know it.”
Jill Filipovic also shares her perspective, tweeting, “I’m positive this will be my most-hated tweet of the day but taking a dumb and awkward picture when you’re a kid is just not that big of a deal, it shouldn’t have been published, and none of us should care.”
Isn’t it fascinating that these are all committed anti-Trump pundits, yet they’re not buying into this story. This is perhaps why the story never really gained traction.
The ‘JD Vance is weird’ attack seems to have fizzled out. There’s nothing remotely weird about JD. What is strange, however, is the entire 2024 Democratic Party agenda.
Given that this “scandal” is the best they could come up with, it’s clear there’s not much dirt on JD.
