It already seems like forever ago that David DePape attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer in his own home. When Pelosi called the police, he described DePape as a “friend,” and Paul let the police in the residence before DePape hit him in the head with a hammer.
The injury required brain surgery.
The liberal media had a heyday with this story and immediately painted it politically. DePape was a right-wing lunatic out to get Nancy.
But the truth is that DePape is an illegal alien who suffers from mental illness. He wanted to buy a birdhouse for a fairy he talked to daily, he’s no raving political junkie.
In fact, according to his son, 19-year-old Nebosvod ‘Sky’ Gonzalez, DePape may have been a member of the Green Party. He said, “My father had progressive views, he believed in human rights, equality, and justice. He was against the war, he was a peace activist, hardly a right-wing conservative as he has been branded.”
Gonzalez talked about the abuse DePape faced when he was a child. His grandmother once dumped a pot of boiling water on him. He was regularly bullied in school.
The son said that his father “tried to be the best father he could be.”
His main occupation seems to have been making bracelets. Gonzales’ mother, Oxan “Gypsy” Taub, kicked DePape out of the home following a fight. But Taub is currently serving time at the California Institution for Women in Chino.
Gonzalez put to rest any thought that DePape did this as a conservative response. In fact, DePape’s home was decorated with ANTIFA, BLM, and gay pride flags.
The assault on Mr. Pelosi was done by a mentally ill left-wing zealot staying in the United States illegally. Let’s hope the liberal narrative owns up to its premature mistake.
