White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told a little white lie that has now blow up in her face.
During an interview on CBS Morning White House Press Secretary jen Psaki said that Biden found the viral videos of Border Patrol horseman “horrific.”
“This is not who we are,” Psaki says. “That’s not who the Biden-Harris administration is.”

The evening before Psaki appeared on CBS DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had said that he watch the video and didn’t observe Border Patrol doing anything wrong.
Mayorkas and Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz told reporters in Del Rio, Texas Monday that they saw nothing obviously wrong with how the agents acted based on initial viewings of the images and footage. Mayorkas explained that agents use long reins — not whips — to control their horses, while Ortiz cited the difficulty in distinguishing migrants from smugglers as people move back and forth near the river.
Psaki forgot to get the talking points to Mayorkas before he publicly commented. By the morning Mayorkas was also out spouting the same talking points contradicting what he said less than 12 hours ago.
Looks like the WH rushed to amplify misinformation & smeared beleaguered/ overwhelmed CBP officers. If only they could get as indignant over the huge illegal immigration crisis they’ve created, incentivized & prolonged. (Media also fueled “whips” pile-on; look at Google results).

Even Texas Democrat Rep Henry Cuellar corrected a CNN host who was upset about the agents on horseback.
“The picture you’re talking about, at least the one I have seen, is the rein, the rein of the horse … What are they supposed to do, just stand there and let everybody come in?” he said.

The truth is if Biden secured our southern border like President Trump did none of this would be happening.
Biden owns every bit of this crisis.
