Matthew Pottinger, who is President Donal Trump’s Deputy National Security Adviser, is a swamp creature, and is respected by both political parties. In a meeting with leaders around the world, Pottinger reported that China’s leaders are starting to admit the virus didn’t originate in a Wuhan market.
During his report, Pottinger said that all the most current intelligence points to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, 11 miles from the market, “There is a growing body of evidence that the lab is likely the most credible source of the virus.”
Pottinger is hypothesis is that COVID escaped through a “leak or accident” and that “establishment figures in Beijing have openly dismissed the wet market story.”
There are also reports that America is speaking with a whistleblower from the Wuhan institute, whose whereabouts are unknown.
Tory Party leader in the UK who attended Pottinger’s meeting leaked the news about a whistleblower.
“I was told the US have an ex-scientist from the laboratory in America at the moment,’ he said. That was what I heard a few weeks ago.”
“I was led to believe this is how they have been able to stiffen up their position on how this outbreak originated.”
“The truth is there are people who have been in those labs who maintain that this is the case,’ he said. We don’t know what they have been doing in that laboratory. They may well have been fiddling with bat coronaviruses and looking at them and they made a mistake. I’ve spoken to various people who believe that to be the case.”
Pottinger, speak fluent Mandarin, worked as a journalist for Reuters and The Wall Street Journal as a China correspondent. The fact that he is publically briefing world leaders that the virus may have been the result of an accident at the Wuhan Lab is a big deal.
The briefing was given on the eve of the World Health Organization traveling to Wuhan in an attempt to investigate the origins of the virus. However, the WHO investigation is already being panned because they announced they would not investigate the lab as a possible source.
