There it is again—the selective amnesia that seems to strike Democrats whenever the truth gets inconvenient. This week, it was Rep. Adam Schiff, of all people, who stepped up to the microphone to deliver one of the more laughable lines in recent political memory: The Biden Department of Justice wasn’t weaponized against Donald Trump.

According to Schiff, Attorney General Merrick Garland was the model of impartiality. “Not partisan,” he said with a straight face.
Are you kidding?
This is the same DOJ that greenlit unprecedented raids, indictments, and investigations against a sitting president’s top political rival—all while looking the other way at the Biden family’s own legal minefield. It’s the same DOJ that appointed special counsels, leaked targeted narratives to the media, and even oversaw a federal case where jurors were treated to primetime courtroom drama just months before a presidential election.
Democrats believe everyone is ignorant and can’t remember anything before today’s breakfast. They rewrite history to suit whatever narrative they want to broadcast.

This wasn’t law enforcement. This was political warfare dressed up in a courtroom.
And Americans remember.
They remember the Mar-a-Lago raid, the classified documents double standard, the endless subpoenas, the circus of trials—all part of a legal onslaught timed perfectly to bog down Trump’s 2024 campaign. It wasn’t just “lawfare,” it was a coordinated strategy, openly cheered on by Democratic officials and media allies alike. Garland was no referee. He was a field general with a law degree.
What makes Schiff’s comments even more insulting is that despite all of this—despite the full force of the federal government, the media, and the corporate class being thrown at him—Donald Trump still won.
He survived the political hit jobs, endured the smears, fought back in court, and ultimately took the White House again. That’s not just a comeback. That’s a rebuke.

And as for the media—viewers were quick to notice ABC’s Terry Moran sitting nearby during Schiff’s comments, nodding and laughing along. Moran, who long ago left behind even the pretense of neutrality, has become a punchline in his own right. At this point, he’s less journalist, more court jester.
Online commenters didn’t hold back. Many pointed out that Moran, like much of the press, spent four years gaslighting the public about the DOJ’s supposed independence while ignoring every sign of coordinated lawfare. His presence next to Schiff only underscored how deeply embedded the media has become in this entire charade.
