Senator Rand Paul pulled no punches in his response to the recent Fauci emails made public.
Can’t wait to see the media try to spin the Fauci FOIA emails.

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly denied being involved in “gain-of-function” research, that is until his emails show he was concerned “gain of function” research may be the cause of the coronavirus.
On February 1st, Fauci sent a panicked email to NIAID deputy director Hugh Auchincloss:
“Hugh,
It is essential that we speak this AM. Keep your cell phone on. I have a conference call at 7:45am with Azar. It likely will be over by 8:45am. Read this paper as well as the e-mail that I will forward you now. You have tasks today that must be done.
Thanks,
Tony.”
The academic paper attached to the emails was titled: “A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence.”
The paper discussed how researchers in the United States and China were manipulating viruses to understand better how they might attach themselves to humans.
The paper states:
Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.
Below are more emails showing Fauci was investigating gain-of-function research in China.

What’s even more concerning is the emails below show the possibility of a coordinated effort by Fauci with social media giants to silence the lab leak theory. On the same day Fauci received an email notifying him of Zero Hedge’s bombshell story about a possible lab leak in Wuhan, Zero Hedge is banned by Twitter. Fauci’s response to the story is highly redacted.

Here’s a Feb 21, 2020 email to Fauci from a Weill Cornell Medical College associate professor of dermatology who wrote: “we think that there is a possibility that the virus was released from a lab in wuhan, the biotech area of china”

Many that have dived into the emails are also raising questions about “deal” Fauci made with Facebook head Mark Zuckerburg.
Not the usual catchall b(5) deliberative process here.. but a less common b(4) “trade secrets and commercial or financial information obtained from a person [that is] privileged or confidential” on Zuck’s offer to Fauci.

To put it into context, Mark Zuckerberg was emailing Fauci to spitball “message ideas”
while he was literally establishing a $400 million election financing operation in battleground neighborhoods and simultaneously deplatforming accounts who complained about it. https://t.co/f3alRp3Y8U— Rising serpent 🇺🇸 (@rising_serpent) June 2, 2021
Rumors are starting to swirl around Washington that the White House is trying to find a way to dump Fauci.
