South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has four simple words for anything thinking about defacing Mount Rushmore.
Noem was responding to a comment made by Conservative Ben Shapiro who wondered when, “So, when is our woke historical revisionist priesthood going to insist on blowing up Mount Rushmore?”

“Not on my watch,” Noem responded.

It was nice to see some leadership coming from a Republican, aside from President Trump. Since the death of George, Floyd Republicans in DC have been silent.
Noem’s response comes after protestors in Wisconsin – who admitted their protest would not be peaceful – tore down a statue promoting women’s rights, destroyed another statue honoring an abolitionist, and violently beat a Democrat State Senator who took a picture of the protest.
I took this pic- it got me assaulted & beat up. Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me. Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked- stuck in office.Stop violence nowPlz! pic.twitter.com/Zw2hdfYG66

Emily Hamer was covering the protests for a local Madison newspaper the organizers she refused to name told demonstrators to put their phones away telling them the protest will not be peaceful.
“I will fight and die for every single one of you,” one organizer says. “Will you die for me?”
“Yes!” the crowd responds.— Emily Hamer (@ehamer7) June 24, 2020
Organizers are telling media to get out of the area, and telling protesters to put all of their phones and Facebook live sessions away.
Still largely peaceful so far. I have been a bit at a distance, but have not seen any property damage or vandalism.

The tolerant left…
A few protesters just beat a man up and smashed the windows of his car, after the man rammed into a person’s bike, then came out of his car walking towards protesters with his fists raised.
I saw the man on the ground curled up in a ball. pic.twitter.com/fGYmDDf78j
