Texas AG Remarks On SCOTUS Ruling

The Biden administration’s reckless immigration policies have once again come under scrutiny, and this time it’s a legal battle in Texas that has captured the attention of Americans across the country.

The Lone Star state, led by fearless Attorney General Ken Paxton, has been fighting tooth and nail to secure its southern border from the flood of illegal immigrants pouring in due to Biden’s open border policies.

But the administration has struck back, filing a lawsuit against Texas in an attempt to stop the state from taking matters into its own hands. And in a shocking turn of events, the Supreme Court has sided with the Biden administration, granting an emergency appeal to allow Border Patrol agents to resume cutting razor wire set up by Texas along the border.

But don’t worry, folks, because as AG Paxton promises, “the fight is not over.” With a 5-4 decision in favor of the Biden administration, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett have once again shown their true colors by siding with the liberal agenda. It’s a sad day for law and order, as Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh stood their ground to deny the application to vacate the injunction.

In a stunning display of arrogance, the DOJ argued that federal immigration law supersedes Texas’ efforts to control its own border. This is a blatant disregard for states’ rights and sovereignty, as the federal government continues to push back against any states that try to stand up for themselves.

But the real kicker is the Biden administration’s claim that the razor wire “inhibits Border Patrol’s ability to patrol the border.” Are you kidding me? These agents are capable of traversing rough terrain, navigating harsh weather conditions, and apprehending dangerous criminals, but a little razor wire is too much for them to handle?

And let’s not forget about the actual Border Patrol agents who are on the front lines dealing with this disaster of an immigration crisis. Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council, has spoken out about the Supreme Court’s decision, saying that it will “undoubtedly encourage more illegal immigration.”

But this is just the latest in a series of battles between Texas and the Biden administration, as the DOJ has also filed a lawsuit over Texas’ use of buoys in the Rio Grande to deter illegal crossings. It seems like the federal government would rather tie the hands of Border Patrol agents and let illegal immigrants roam freely than allow a state to take action to secure its own border.

And let’s not forget about the recent showdown in Eagle Pass, where Texas seized Shelby Park and blocked Border Patrol from entering. The administration has threatened to sue over this as well, showing once again that they would rather protect illegal immigrants than Americans and their own border patrol agents.

It’s clear that the Biden administration does not see the southern border as a crisis, despite the overwhelming evidence that it is. The American people deserve leaders who will prioritize their safety and security, not bend to the will of illegal immigrants and their open borders agenda.

But fear not, because Texas will continue to fight for its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens. As AG Paxton said, “this fight is not over,” and we can only hope that the Supreme Court will eventually see the error of its ways and prioritize the safety of American citizens over the interests of illegal immigrants. Until then, Texans and Americans across the country will keep a close eye on this battle for the border.
