Woke companies across the country are responding to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade by offering to pay their employee’s expenses to travel out of state so that they can end their pregnancy through abortion.
In Texas, there is a faith-based insurance company that has announced that they will pay for maternity and adoption costs for their workers.
Buffer Insurance is putting its money where its beliefs lie. They posted an announcement on Facebook announcing new benefits for employees who are having babies.
The company wrote, “Secular companies are paying the travel costs for employees to abort babies out-of-state. Today we are announcing that Buffer will pay the costs for our employees who birth babies.”
The veteran-led and veteran-owned company proudly declares its commitment to “Faith, Family and Futures” on its website. They will now cover medical expenses associated with pregnancy and paid leave for both mothers and fathers with newborns, and they will also pay for any medical costs that come if the baby is adopted.
“If you’d like to learn how you can provide these benefits to your employees, let us know,” Buffer told other employers. “We have ready-to-use policies you can add to your employee handbooks.”
This is the exact opposite of what companies like Disney have announced since the Supreme Court decision.
“Our company remains committed to removing barriers and providing comprehensive access to quality and affordable care for all of our employees, cast members and their families, including family planning and reproductive care, no matter where they live.”
And Goldman Sachs wrote in a memo to all employees that they would have healthcare travel reimbursement policies “to include all medical procedures, treatments and evaluations, including abortion services and gender-affirming care where a provider is not available in proximity to where our people live.”
Buffer Insurance is leading the way for companies across the nation who choose life.
