The left is getting more violent every day and on Wednesday Schumer crossed the line. What Schumer did on Wednesday brought the President and Chief Justice Roberts together who usually stays silent on political matters.
During a speech about the abortion case currently before the Supreme Court that could upend Roe vs Wade, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) treated Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Schumer said, “you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
Schumer said, “Now, we stand here today because behind me, inside the walls of this court, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments, as you know, for the first major abortion right cases since [Justice] Kavanaugh and [Justice] Gorsuch came to the bench. We know what’s at stake. Over the last three years, women’s reproductive rights have come under attack in a way we haven’t seen in modern history. From Louisiana, to Missouri, to Texas, Republican legislatures are waging a war on women, all women, and they’re taking away fundamental rights. I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

The President slammed Schumer saying:
This is a direct & dangerous threat to the U.S. Supreme Court by Schumer. If a Republican did this, he or she would be arrested, or impeached. Serious action MUST be taken NOW! https://t.co/WqQUbyzaJU

Justices Roberts very rarely gets involved in political squabbles but on Wednesday he may a rare public statement almost immediately after Schumer’s words were spoken.
“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous,” Roberts said in a rare statement. “All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter.”
Funny how Democrats can threaten two justices sitting on the Supreme Court but if President Trump makes comments about a corrupt Judge overseeing a case with corrupt jurors – the Roger Stone Case – the press goes nuts.
The case involves a dispute over a Louisiana law that mandates abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital in case a patient experiences complications during or after a procedure.
Those that back the law say that it regulates abortion providers similar to how other medical providers are regulated by the state while also ensuring doctors are competent. Opponents against the bill claim that it is targeting abortion providers with the goal of shutting them down.
What the media and Schumer aren’t telling you about the case is that even Democrat women are backing the bill.
Democratic Louisiana State Senator Katrina Jackson, who Wass a state representative when she sponsored the bill said that admitting privileges law was pushed by women over safety concerns.
“This is the thing how this bill came about,” she said. “Look at it. From a female legislator. I was asked to bring this bill by women advocates who had suffered from abortions. Women attorneys helped draft this bill. And a woman solicitor general will argue this bill before the Supreme Court.”
The bill was also signed into law by Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards.
