Earlier this week we reported that the city of Portland, Oregon caved to Antifa’s demands after they set up an elaborate autonomous zone.
Mayor Ted Wheeler has lost total control of his city and this week he admitted it after he apologized to anti-eviction anarchists that drove police from a three-block area and took it over.
“I hope it is not an ongoing phenomenon,” Mayor Wheeler said in an article published by The Oregonian. “Our objective is to protect lives and end the occupation. And nobody should take this as an invitation to do it anywhere else. The end result could turn out very differently.”

Wheeler admitted that him apologizing to Antifa showed the “aura of success” and could lead to further occupations.
Well, look what just popped up in Seattle, not 72 hours after Portland caved to Antifa.
BLM-antifa in Seattle have set up another autonomous zone at Cal Anderson Park in the Capital Hill neighborhood. This is the same area they made CHAZ during the summer months. Video by @choeshow: pic.twitter.com/0ZSbOds65T

This time Antifa is not letting anyone inside the new zone and attacked a local news agency.
THEY’RE HERE: Dozens of people dressed in all black have arrived to Cal Anderson Park. On the eve of Wednesday’s planned homeless sweep, this group and others living at the park say they aren’t leaving without a fight. #Seattle #CalAndersonPark #seattleprotest pic.twitter.com/7E8vxUg0JB

Below is a video of Antifa driving out the news crew.
ABANDONING LIVE SHOT: A group of people in all black emerged out of Cal Anderson Park just before my 4:30pm live shot. They started throwing rocks at us. Now I know how @SeattlePD feels. My crew is safe. @SeattleParks will have hands full during Wed sweep. Update 6pm @komonews pic.twitter.com/3A9sExBGyf

As of the writing of this post, the local ABC affiliate KOMO reported the city appeased the protestors and has not cleaned the park. A recent report shows that there are factions inside the park and inside city hall. The homeless people living inside the park are worried about the Antifa protestors because the group brings violence. Some inside city hall want to open the park however do not want the police involved in clearing out the homeless. Most agree the presence of Antifa makes it impossible for city officials to clear the park without police backup.
WHAT HAPPENED TO SWEEP? IS THIS NEW #CHOP? My colleague @mattmarkovich went in to the Cal Anderson Park encampment Tues night. Some of the homeless say they don’t want the black bloc protestors there since that group usually brings violence. Hot mess.#SEATTLE #Seattleprotest pic.twitter.com/QRb9hvbFQ5

Both Portland and Seattle has caved to Antifa and the organization has learned from its experience this summer. Which Democrat-run city will be next? DC? Los Angeles? Philadelphia? With the victories the organization is racking up it’s only a matter of time.
