Oh, buckle up, folks, because former President Donald Trump is back in rare form—and he’s got the judiciary squarely in his sights. Monday morning on Truth Social, Trump blasted what he sees as a justice system paralyzed by political correctness and, in his words, “intimidated by the Radical Left.” And let me tell you, this wasn’t your average post. This was a barnburner.
Trump’s frustration? Courts stepping in—again—to block deportations of illegal immigrants he says pose a danger to the public. He framed it as a betrayal of his presidential mandate, saying flat out: “I’m doing what I was elected to do, remove criminals from our Country, but the Courts don’t seem to want me to do that.” That’s not just a dig—it’s a declaration of war against a legal system he believes is broken.

Now, before you think this is Trump being Trump, let’s put some weight on what he’s arguing here. His team had authorized deportations under the Alien Enemies Act—a rarely cited provision with Civil War-era roots that lets the president send home individuals deemed dangerous from hostile nations. But now, with the courts, including the Supreme Court, hitting the brakes, Trump is saying the legal system is doing more to protect criminals than the American people.
He didn’t name names in terms of blame, but he sure handed out praise. Justice Samuel Alito? Trump’s MVP of the week. Alito apparently wants to “dissolve the pause” on deportations—and Trump was thrilled: “He is right on this!” And if you think this is just about a few bad apples, Trump pulled no punches, saying we’re talking about hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens clogging up the system.

“We cannot give everyone a trial… Such a thing is not possible to do,” he said. According to him, trying to process each case legally would take “200 years.” That’s not hyperbole in Trump-speak—that’s a direct shot at a bureaucracy he views as hopelessly overwhelmed and ineffective.
And just when you think he might start wrapping things up, he pivots and hits the courts and Democrats again—this time for defending Kilmar Abrego Garcia. You remember him? The alleged MS-13 member whose knuckle tattoos probably weren’t advertising a book club. Trump went after the idea that this guy was somehow a “model dad” just because he lived in Maryland. “What is wrong with our Country?” Trump asked.
For those worried about the SCOTUS early Saturday morning ruling temporarily blocking President Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act, don’t be.
He’s made it clear that a judge wasn’t elected to deal with deportations, he was.
