Trump, in a post on his Truth Social account, questioned whether the revelations of “MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION” warranted overturning the results of the 2020 Presidential Election or conducting a new one. The former president, using quotes around “Founders,” seemingly implied that a fraud of this magnitude could justify the termination of constitutional rules and regulations. Trump asserted that the “Founders” would not condone false and fraudulent elections.
In subsequent posts, Trump expressed his belief that the revelations were an embarrassment to the United States on the world stage. He criticized Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Republicans, calling them a disgrace to the party and the nation. Trump claimed that the world was laughing at the U.S. due to the corrupt and rigged 2020 election, emphasizing the need for an unprecedented cure in response to unprecedented fraud.
Earlier, Trump stated that the Twitter revelations vindicated his claims of a rigged and stolen 2020 election involving Democrats, Big Tech, law enforcement, and other bad actors. He lamented the corruption in the country and called for rectifying the alleged wrong to take the country back.
The report highlighted that Twitter collaborated with the Democrat Party to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story. An email from a top tech industry lobbyist informed Twitter that Democrat lawmakers believed social media needed more moderation, expressing concerns that conservatives had portrayed the Biden campaign as corrupt. The revelations fueled Trump’s assertions of widespread fraud and collusion in the 2020 election.
