Trump Responds to Cheney’s Defeat…And Get A Load of Donald Jr.’s Comment and Video

Former President Donald Trump responded to the Wyoming primary even before Rep. Liz Cheney conceded her defeat. He called the election results “wonderful” for America in a post on his Truth Social social media platform.

Harriet Hageman, who Trump endorsed, won the primary handily.

“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive WIN in Wyoming,” Trump said.

The former president went further in praising the results, “This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs. Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!”

The relationship between Trump and Cheney went south after the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol. Cheney served as the vice chair of the House Select Committee to investigate the riot. She was removed from her perch as the chair of the House Republican Conference in 2021.

Cheney’s loss was so massive that the Decision Desk was able to call it within 27 minutes of the polls closing. That speaks volumes about how much the people of Wyoming dislike her campaign against the former president.

Liz Cheney was clueless during her campaign and even more clueless in her concession speech. She actually compared herself to both Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant. But she did not go so far as to declare her candidacy for the presidency in 2024.

Donald Trump Jr. posted a message that shared the bright side for Cheney. He said she doesn’t have to “pretend” anymore to actually be from Wyoming!

So she’s been booted from Wyoming, maybe she will land on The View? Please, no.
