Trump Reveals Rudy Giuliani Was Hospitalized…Says It’s Because of What ‘They’ Did to Him

Former President Donald Trump said over the weekend that Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s former attorney, had been hospitalized for a heart condition.
Trump had words about Giuliani at a Las Vegas, Nevada rally. He told the crowd that “Rudy is getting well now.” He said that Giuliani had “a big problem, a heart problem” and that he was in a hospital because of “what they put Rudy through.”
Trump did not give specifics about who “they” were, but these comments come at just about the same time as a Fulton County, Georgia special grand jury issuing a subpoena to Giuliana.
The grand jury is investigating Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. Giuliani is just one of a number of allies to the former president who has been subpoenaed. He will be joined by South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, according to CNN.
This is the second time that Rudy has been in the spotlight in the last week. At a ShopRite grocery store, an employee slapped him on the back and Giuliani told a radio host that it felt like “somebody shot me.”
A representative for the ShopRite employee said that Giuliani exaggerated the incident, according to Insider.
Rudy has been on the campaign trail for his son, Andrew. He lost New York’s Republican gubernatorial primary to Lee Zeldin.
Andrew Giuliani told the press that his father had been experiencing “discomfort for weeks” but did not tell anyone about his issue until the primary was over.
On Tuesday, Giuliani had heart stent surgery to open up clogged arteries, according to his son.
According to NBC News correspondent Vaughn Hillyard, Giuliani is now out of the hospital and he is doing pretty good.
