In Message To Romney Trump Puts Him In His Place

President Trump sent a message to “Republican” Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) on Thursday and it was savage.

ON Wednesday Senator Romney announced that he was going to vote to convict President Trump and have him removed from office, he was the only Republican that did so.

Romney said in a floor speech in the Senate before his vote, “The grave question the Constitution tasks senators to answer is whether the president committed an act so extreme and egregious that it rises to the level of a high crime and misdemeanor. Yes, he did.”

“The President is guilty of an appalling abuse of public trust. What he did was not perfect. No, it was a flagrant assault under electoral rights, our national security and our fundamental values,” he cried.

After Romney voted to convict the President Republicans erupted and some were calling for him to be expelled from the party.

The Utah GOP also formally denounced Senator Romney and wrote in a statement:

“The Utah Republican Party is pleased to see President Trump completely acquitted by the United States Senate. We appreciate the service rendered to our state by Utah’s two senators. As a party, we strongly disagree with the vote cast today by Senator Romney. We stand firmly behind our President, whose policies have created unprecedented levels of American prosperity. The impeachment effort has served only to distract America from the serious issues we face, and in November voters will hold Democrats accountable for this distraction.”

They later added:

But the most severe rebuke came from President Trump who was 100% right!

We all watched Romney flop like a fish when he ran against Obama and now he wants to play tough guy. Give me a break!
