Oh, the Left is melting down again—this time, over Donald Trump’s trip to McDonald’s in Bucks County.
And why? Because apparently, a former president making French fries and serving customers is somehow outrageous. You’d think they’d appreciate the show of authenticity, but no. Instead, they’re clutching their pearls and calling it a “stunt.” Sure, when Democrats swing by a diner for a photo-op, it’s called a campaign stop. But when Trump rolls up his sleeves and actually works the fryer? It’s a “dangerous” spectacle. The hypocrisy is almost as greasy as those fries.
Libs Are Melting Down Over Trump’s Trip McDonald’s and It’s Over the Dumbest Reason

Let’s talk about the real reason for the security precautions, though. Just a few months ago, Trump was shot at—yes, shot at—by some lunatic in July. And in September, another psycho was waiting to take potshots at him on a golf course in West Palm Beach. So, was anyone expecting Trump to waltz into the drive-thru without a single security measure in place? The Left is acting like it’s absurd for Trump to have protection, but let’s be honest: we’re talking about a man who’s had more attempts on his life than Biden has had coherent speeches.
How would you suggest the Secret Service handle security if the McDonald’s was open as usual?
Everyone knows it was a campaign stop. You’re embarrassing yourself. https://t.co/5uUPgQYvr5

But that’s not even the point, really. The point is that every time Trump does something relatable—something that resonates with average Americans—the Left loses its collective mind. It’s almost as if they can’t handle seeing a Republican connect with voters in a way their candidates never could. They’re so used to robotic, scripted appearances (Kamala’s awkward cackling and staged moments, anyone?) that when Trump does something genuine, they short-circuit.
Eight years in, and the media can’t help but run themselves into the ground every time Trump does something likable.
This kind of coverage reveals much more about WaPo than it does Trump. pic.twitter.com/tZ6ceDd5ZR

The media, of course, is right there to pour gasoline on the fire. “It’s a stunt!” they cry, conveniently forgetting that every photo-op Biden or Harris takes is so staged it might as well come with a teleprompter. The truth is, they’re jealous. Trump’s McDonald’s stop wasn’t just a campaign win; it was a cultural moment. And that’s something the Democrats simply can’t replicate. They can’t manufacture the kind of authenticity that comes naturally to Trump. It’s no wonder their candidate, Kamala Harris, comes across as more scripted than an SNL skit (and just as cringe).

So, yes, let them cope and seethe. Trump worked the fryer, bagged up some meals, and did it all while reminding people why he connects with them in the first place. The Left knows it’s a winning move, which is why they’re panicking. Sorry, Democrats, but you can’t fake this kind of authenticity. It’s a shame your candidate can’t even make it through a McDonald’s drive-thru without a pre-recorded video. Sucks to suck.

Again, though, the double standard is ridiculous.
