We’ve been waiting for it. Fox News host, Tucker Carlson, has returned to his show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” and he has some things to say about the FBI and the Department of Justice.
Tucker was away from his show all last week as the story of the raid on Mar-a-Lago developed. The silence from Carlson created some anticipation and his people were not disappointed.
Tucker started his monologue by saying that the raid was a “power grab.”
“For the sake of argument … we’re going to say that it is in fact true, that Donald Trump did in fact get classified boxes of documents sitting in his cellar. Let’s say that’s true. What would it mean? Well, what it means depends in part on what the documents were. Did those documents contain meaningful information? Should they have been classified in the first place? … You never hear those questions asked in public, but anyone who lives in Washington knows perfectly well, they should be asked in public…”
Carlson went further to question what the alleged nuclear secrets might be that MSNBC continues to talk about.
“Nuclear secrets?! Nuclear secrets are the highest classified status … What’s a nuclear secret exactly and what did Trump plan to do with them? … Give the launch codes to Vladimir Putin?”
The Fox News host just touched on the crazy comment from Michael Hayden, a former CIA Director. He said that Trump should be executed.
Carlson also said, “Nuclear secrets? If the Biden administration really believed that, if they really thought Donald Trump possessed documents that posed an imminent danger to American national security, then you have to wonder why they’d wait a year and a half to do anything about it? Why did they wait until 90 days before our midterm election? … Despite superficial appearances the raid on Mar-a-Lago was not an act of law enforcement. It was the opposite of that. It was an attack on the rule of law. It was a power grab.”
He concluded the monologue, saying: “But they don’t care, because they’re facing a repudiation from voters and they’re desperate, and they’ll do anything. But at what cost? Pray they pull back before it’s too late.”
It’s good to have Tucker back, isn’t it?
