There’s a new challenger in town and she is looking to unseat Trump turncoat Republican turned Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL). Anna Paulina Luna who is a veteran and strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment has said Crist “betrayed us all” by voting to impeach President Donald Trump. You may remember her when she was on Fox News and compared Hillary Clinton to herpes.
“At the end of the day, a man is only as good as his word, and if he has no word, why is he in office?” said Paulina Luna.
“He took one oath, and that was to protect the wishes of the American people,” she added, “The people elected President Donald Trump, and he went against those wishes.”
In 2010 Charlie Crist left the Republican Party upset over its attacks on former President Obama. “No, I left the Republican party because Republican leadership went off the cliff,” he said. “They’re so hard right now they won’t cooperate with the president on anything.”
Crist then lost a race against Senator Marco Rubio for Senate, lost his next race against Gov. Rick Scott but won in 2017 a congressional seat; Luna is working to unseat him.
“I’m going to be fighting very hard for veterans,” said Paulina Luna of what she would do if elected to congress. “In fact, I don’t understand, to this day, why people voted against healthcare for our veterans, and in favor of that for illegals.”
“There’s so many issues locally affecting our district,” she added. “It is Charlie [Crist]’s lack of work that has contributed to the fact that we have a ton of untreated sewage that’s dumping into the ocean.”
Luna is also concerned about Crist’s support for Red Flag laws and fears that they target veterans. She’s worried that veterans who are battling PTSD may lose their right to bear arms.
