Hello folks! Republican vice presidential candidate and Ohio Sen. JD Vance, who is a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines, recently made some strong remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris.
During a campaign rally in Minnesota, Vance responded to an ad released by Harris where she accused him of being loyal “only to Trump, not to our country.” He defended his loyalty to the United States by invoking Semper Fi, the Marine Corps’ motto, which stands for “always faithful” or “always loyal.”
Vance argued, “There is no greater sign of disloyalty to this country than what Kamala Harris has done at our southern border.” He further questioned Harris’s actions, saying, “I served in the United States Marine Corps. I went to Iraq for this country. I built a business for this country. And my running mate took a bullet for this country. What have you done to question our loyalty to the United States of America?”
He then urged the audience and the media to communicate to Vice President Harris that they are ready for Trump to return to the presidency, promising to work diligently to make it happen.
The controversy began after Trump announced Vance as his vice presidential pick. In response, Harris released an ad depicting Vance as a “rubber stamp” for Trump’s “extreme agenda.” She stated, “Trump looked for someone he knew would be a rubber stamp for his extreme agenda, and make no mistake: JD Vance will be loyal only to Trump, not to our country.”

Vance has since consistently criticized Harris, particularly after President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race on July 21 and endorsed Harris for the presidency. Following Biden’s endorsement, Harris has received enough pledges of support from Democratic delegates at the party convention, making her the official Democratic Party candidate for president.

In response to Biden’s endorsement of Harris, Vance accused her of merely supporting Biden’s policies. He stated, “Joe Biden has been the worst President in my lifetime, and Kamala Harris has been right there with him every step of the way. Over the last four years, she endorsed Biden’s open border and green policies that drove up the cost of housing and groceries.”
